The file on this machine

A familiar filename is not a version check.

A deck called final.pptx may have changed since export. A renamed deck may still contain exactly the same bytes. StageReadyPack checks the files you explicitly select against an intact received rehearsal or selected-talk package.

Check a received package

1. Open the toolkit and expand Check received handoff files.
2. Choose a full or selected-talk StageReadyPack ZIP. Its structure, file sizes and embedded hashes are checked locally.
3. Review the event and selected/full talk count. For each talk, choose the actual local presentation you intend to use.
4. Run the check. Review matching bytes, matching bytes under a different name, changed bytes and missing selections.
5. Download the reviewed text or JSON report if useful. Filenames are excluded unless you opt in.

Only files explicitly chosen for a talk are compared. Matching names never select files automatically. There is no remote access to a room computer, no directory scan and no upload.

Leave the working schedule alone

This verifier is separate from schedule restoration. Opening a received handoff does not replace your schedule, saved event library, rehearsal checks or attached originals. Full-package restoration continues to reject selected-talk handoffs, protecting the rest of the event from accidental replacement.

Keep the conclusion narrow

Matching bytes means that the selected file matches the original inside this package. It does not verify authorship or speaker approval, prove that a presentation application opened that file, or test fonts, linked media, video, audio or projector output. A checksum inside a package does not establish that the package came from someone you trust.

The report is a snapshot of bytes read during the check. If a file changes on disk, reselect it and check again. Changing any local selection or report privacy option clears the previous report. This check stays in the tab; download the report before closing if you need a record.

Small enough for a deliberate handoff

Browser-generated, uncompressed StageReadyPack ZIPs only, up to 52 MB. Up to 100 expected talks, 20 MB per original and 50 MB total. Local files have the same individual and combined limits. Missing files are shown; corrupt, unexpected or inconsistent package entries are rejected.
