Keep the whole rehearsal handoff

Reopen the schedule and its originals.

A full rehearsal ZIP contains the checked schedule, file index and one original presentation per talk. Select it in the toolkit to validate the package, review the event and files, and explicitly replace the current in-memory schedule.

What is checked

The importer accepts this browser tool’s uncompressed ZIP format. It checks entry paths, duplicates, local and central records, CRC values, manifest/index consistency, original sizes and SHA-256 hashes. Unsupported compression, encryption, unexpected entries and malformed packages are rejected before the schedule changes.

Full packages only

A selected-talk handoff is not a full event backup, even if every talk was selected. Packages with a selection marker are rejected here. Its manifest can still be restored separately if you deliberately want that selection. Arbitrary ZIPs and older command-line package formats are not supported.

Limits

Up to 100 talks, 20 MB per original, 50 MB total originals and 52 MB for the ZIP. Metadata has separate size limits. Referenced videos, fonts and linked media are not collected automatically.

Consistency is not approval

CRC and SHA-256 show that files match the package’s own records. They do not authenticate its sender, establish speaker approval or verify slide playback. Presentations are not opened or executed during checking.

Keep originals after editing

Restored files remain in this tab’s memory. Browser-saved schedules and library backups still store metadata only. Edit the schedule and download another full ZIP to keep its originals. Reloading can lose selected files. Saved library entries remain unchanged until you explicitly save a schedule.

Replacement is deliberate

Download current work first if needed. Cancelling keeps it in place. Edits made while a package is being checked invalidate that result; choose the ZIP again. Invalid packages never partly replace the current schedule.
