Use stable talk IDs

Titles and rooms change. Keep each talk ID stable so a later manifest can show specific revisions. Validate room overlaps before exporting.

Reselect the actual originals

A JSON manifest contains filenames and hashes, not presentation bytes. Restoring one does not restore its files. Reselect the intended original for every talk. StageReadyPack checks the current bytes against the recorded fingerprint during ZIP export.

Read the package index

The ZIP contains a manifest, text run sheet, read-me and package index. Each talk has a generated folder with its original file. The index preserves the original filename, path, byte count and hash. Portable names may differ from original names.

Check dependencies separately

The ZIP includes one selected file per talk. Linked videos, audio, fonts or supporting documents are not found automatically. A matching hash does not prove a deck opens or media plays on the room machine.

Keep delivery and approval explicit

Exporting does not send files to a room or obtain speaker approval. Use your own handoff and rehearsal process, record which version was checked and compare the next manifest when changes arrive.
