Start with the schedule you have

Bring the spreadsheet to the production desk.

Use the CSV importer for talk metadata. It does not fetch presentation links or attach files named in a spreadsheet.

Six named columns

Include id,title, room, date, start, duration, in any order. Header case and surrounding spaces are ignored. Use stable talk IDs, dates such as 2026-10-01, 24-hour starts such as 09:30, and whole-minute durations. Download the template from the toolkit.

Preview the complete result

Choose Append to retain current talks and selected originals, or Replace to start with only the imported schedule. The preview names extra source columns that will not be imported and lists the complete resulting schedule. Duplicate IDs and room overlaps prevent the whole import; no partial rows are applied.

Keep the presentation files separate

Imported talks begin without files or fingerprints, even if the CSV has filename, hash or URL columns. Append preserves originals already selected for existing talks. Replace removes their attachment to the current schedule; the confirmation states how many. Download the current package first if you need to keep it.

Save deliberately

Applying changes the current schedule in memory. Existing saved library entries stay unchanged until you choose Save. A replacement is detached from the previously loaded event so it can be saved as a new one. Review and export again after changes.

CSV limits and privacy

Use a UTF-8 comma-separated file within 500 KB, with at most 100 data records and 30 columns. Quoted commas and doubled quote marks are accepted; internally blank records and malformed quoting are rejected. Trailing blank lines are allowed. Source text stays in this tab; only the six selected fields enter the schedule. Clear the text box when finished if it contains extra private columns.
